As you enter the church, look at the cross. See the wounds of your covenant head, the One who cut a blood covenant for you. In that solemn contract, blessings were announced. Recall the blessings, those promises stated in the scriptures. Give thanks.
Opening Rite: The Lord is present to renew the sacred covenant with you. Praise the Lord. The Lord is present in all the brothers and sisters, approach that Presence in awe too.
Penitential Rite: Be aware that God's mercy will open covenant promises so the wonder working power of the Blood will overcome all that hinders and afflicts. Ask for forgiveness for dishonoring Jesus by ignoring the power of the Blood and by forgetting the importance of the covenant.
Liturgy of the Word: The gospel lets us know the terms of the covenant. All readings speak of Blood Covenant promises and responsibilities. Listen to the readings and homily for specific word, phrase, idea, or image that the Lord wants to give to you. What is God saying to you as a covenant partner?
Prayers of the Faithful: Call for the blessings of the covenant to flow for all requests.
Preparing the Covenant Meal: Watch as the bread is carried to the altar table. "This is my life on that plate. All that I am: body, mind, heart and soul and all that I possess goes to the table in this bread. This bread represents me." As the wine passes by say, " This represents strength, the very essence of life. The power of my mind, emotions, body and soul will go into the wine. All the energy of my life is going to the altar table."
Liturgy of the Eucharist: Anything you placed on the altar table in the bread and wine can be changed. The priest blesses the bread and wine and they are now the Body and Blood. All of you has now entered into Jesus. With Jesus, In Jesus and Thru Jesus in this Blood Covenant meal we are made one. We are in Him.
Great Amen: This is the word of your testimony which overcomes Satan. Stand boldly to testify. Proclaim boldly your Yes! For Sure! I Bet My Life On This! I am counting on Jesus' glorious new covenant for myself and for all others. I pledge fidelity to the covenant. I accept the conditions of this Blood Covenant. This is my signature. I sign it with the blood of my own life. My Amen is my blood signature.
Our Father: We are one blood family. I claim covenant promises in this prayer for the entire family of God.
Covenant Handshake: Be aware of the mingling of covenant blood as you shake hands. This is a contract handshake which says that we stand together in united strength. Your needs are my concern. I am contracted to watch out for your safety and well being. This handshake is my blood promise to you so be at peace, my brothers and sisters.
Communion: Take and eat with expectant faith. His life is now coming into you. Miracles of healing are seen. When Jesus and humanity are at table, people are healed and society is healed. Take the cup of Sacred Blood and drink deeply. Drink the Blood as if it is fresh and new. That is what eternal means: unaffected by time. This Blood is unaffected by time. It is an eternal living sacrifice flowing fresh for you. Be strengthen by this Blood for His energy of life is now coming into you. It is marking every area of your life. All who enter your life will know its power and protection. His glory fills you, and is your provision for all your needs. This communion is real. It is fact. Let the Glory of the Lord overshadow you. Receive, receive His Presence
Communion Meditation: You have renewed the sacred covenant. Give praise and thanks as you soak in the blessings of this covenant. Let all that is within you be alert to the power of the Blood that is now flowing within you. In sacred silence let the Blood speak. In holy song, honor the Blood. The Blood and the Spirit are here. As the Blood flows, the Spirit will move.
Sent Forth: Allow this covenant to govern all other relationships of your life so to truly heal all wounds and divisions. All you have received is to be taken out of here for others. We leave this place as "overcomers". They overcame by the Power of the Blood and the word of their testimony (Rev. 12:11)
