Chelmsford Mountaineering Club actively welcomes outdoor enthusiasts involved in a multitude of mountain related activities, including rock climbing, hill walking, cycling and socialising. The club is BMC affiliated and carries a long history of a careful and respectful attitude to the outdoors. Unfortunately the club does not have the facilities to provide training for novices, but does contain a wealth of shared knowledge that is always available to those who are keen. The club meets socially every Wednesday, firstly at a local college climbing wall and then later to a local pub, see the events list for further details.
