Frequently Asked QuestionsLast Updated: February 8th, 2004Below you will find some of the most commonly asked questions and their answers. If you have questions or comments about the Fool's Box, feel free to get in touch with one or more of the Triumvirate. They'll be more than happy to help. What is the Fool's Box? The Fool's Box is a Kent State University sponsored acting company based out of the Trumbull Campus that is dedicated to bringing the dramatic arts alive on the stage. Completely student run, the Fool's Box also hopes to further a greater understanding of the theatre process as a whole for all those involved. How did the Fool's Box begin? The Fool's Box was concieved by Cleric Costes after having too much fun at the KSU-TC production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He decided in a moment of insanity, "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Shakespeare Company around here?" But, unlike most other ideas Cleric usually comes up with - this one actually seemed cool. Enlisting the help of several of his friends (Matt Bidinger, Elaine Hullihen, Niko Liakaris, Kim & Sarai McCulley, Rachael Ullinskey, and Tessia Weaver) they fleshed out the details on what would be fun to do. And The Fool's Box was born! Since then the core group has dwindled down to three, and the focus of the club changed from being a Shakespeare-oriented club to a general dramatic club. But the cool people are still with us! |
