...At every great Anime fanatic's website, there is that one character that really fuels a fan to draw art. To make a page totally dedicated to that one special muse, or muses. My muses happen to be... Ryou and Bakura!

Okay, technically, I like Bakura more, but Ryou comes pretty close. I mean, think about it. They have white hair, and considering that they don't talk much, they get tons of attention. So, to start this out, I'll just say that Bakura is totally awesome! Ryou is adorably sweet! And I'm gonna rant, ramble, shout, and talk about them until you're black 'n blue!

Now then, to start off, since Bakura's history is longer, here is some stuff for you to look at about Ryou!

Ryou Bakura: Everyone's favorite albino!

Hair: White
Eyes: Brown (Green in Japan)
Age: According to most sites, he's 16, but he could be as young as 14.
Occupation: Sophmore at Domino High/Holder of a Millennium Item.
Item: Millennium Ring. Just to prove it, see below.

Now you have a nice picture to prove it. Anyway, since Ryou technically is NOT the duelist of the pair, I won't list any deck ratings. Instead, here's a short bio for you all to read.

Poor Ryou is not only a target to only hundreds of fangirls daily, he also is a target to bullies, mainly because they think he's a big sissy (He most certainly IS NOT!!). He also gets picked on by Bakura. Anyway, we'll talk about Bakura later.

So, Ryou lives with his father. His mother died a while ago, though it never says when, and he may have had a sibling, but no one knows this either. Sadly, Ryou's father seems to be gone for most of his life, on some business trip. Because of this, Ryou seems very distant from everyone. His personality is shy, quiet, and sometimes just forlorn. He is the one most likely to say when a duel combo is good or when something might not work. This is proven when Tristan yells at him for "Constantly critizising my plans!"

Anyway, since Ryou's darker half takes over when Ryou either passes out or when Bakura wants something, everything bad that happens because of the white-haired boy isn't Ryou's fault. On the inside, Ryou is just a lonely boy who wants friends. Having an evil nutcase trapped in a ring your daddy gave you one day probably doesn't help Ryou.

In the Japanese version, Ryou is liked by Miho Nosaka, but whether or not her feelings are returned are unknown by me. Chances are they aren't.

Bakura: The coolest dueling psycho!

Occupation: Psycho spirit in the Millennium Ring

Great, so I have his info posted twice in my site. Anyway, Bakura's history is long, so that's why he's second. So, read all this stuff, why don't you?

Bakura used to be a tomb robber, and not just any! He was the king of thieves! Wow, pretty big intro. Anyway, it never started out like that. Not like *twitch* Yami, who was born a prince. Bakura's life was peaceful until he was eight. When he came back from some plunder trip, he didn't know what would happen that night. When he was sleeping, guards came and set his village aflame.

His family and friends all died, and he was the only survivor. Some say that this happened when he was out, some say he had to watch his family die in horror. I'm not sure which one it is, either way he lost everything. This fueled him to become the greatest robber ever, to get revenge on Yami's father, since it was his fault the village was destroyed. The destruction was because to make the seven M. Items, Yami's father needed 99 souls. Poor boy...

When he was older, Bakura dueled Mahaado (Dark Magician) and took the Millennium Ring. He went to the palace to get his revenge, and challenged Yami to a duel. He lost (NO!) and was sealed inside the ring. 5000 years later, Ryou found it and they all lived happily ever after!

Maybe not... For a while, Bakura takes Ryou over to get the M. Items. He says he's done "Terrible things in his quest for the items." If they're so terrible, how come the only one he has now was given to him by Ryou's dad? Well, if you count what he did to get the Eye, you'll see he's ruthless.

On the inside, Bakura probably does care about Ryou. He protected Ryou from Slifer during the first round of the Battle City Finals. This shows he's not a total jerk. Of course, since he loses almost all of his duels, it shows he never truly learned from his mistakes. But I don't love Baku for his brains, do I?

Also, like Yami, Bakura has no recollection of his past. All he knows is that he wants to rule the world.

It's pretty obvious what Bakura did in the past, isn't it? Yes, he was a thief, and a good one at that. See above for details of his past.

Aside from losing basically EVERYTHING he loved, Thief Bakura went a little crazy at a young age and swore perfect revenge on Yami for destroying his town. When he grew up, he learned that his village was destroyed to create the Millennium Items, and sought to find them and unleash the beast created from them. Eventually, he did get the Millennium Ring, and the beast, Zork, possessed his mind. Of course, the fact that he was already psychotic didn't make it easier.

Sadly, Thief Bakura obviously failed his life quest of getting ultimate revenge, instead being banished into a Millennium Item, namely, the Ring. Why he doesn't look the same 5000 years later is beyond me, but he changes his appearence, to everyone's dismay (or mine at least).

Thief Bakura could easily be classified by the snazzy red cloak he wore and the scar on his face from the destruction of his village. Oh yeah, and he liked jewelery!

Another sad thing... I have no pictures of him, so until I find some, look on google for Thief Bakura or something.
