I live in Chandigar and am a complete newbie to linux. I am currently using mandriva2006 but not happy with it due to some audio problem which doesn't go away. I have a 64bit intel processor so would like to try 64bit versions of various ditros. From where can i get linux distros in Chandigarh?

Hi,
I do not use Madrivia, but use Debian. I do not know anyone using 64 bit linux, Was planning on downloading 64 bit kannotix last year, but did not upgrade my computer. If you need debian CD's I have the ones i Downloaded last year ( Sarge R.0) (not the latest).
Best regards
Capt

Well friend when we talk of Linux its should not be for multimedia. Its a high end OS. But, any ways you can always install a ALSA emulator which is compatible with the above version.

I know I am just messing around here. Can anyone please let me know where can I get good Linux professionals? I have some very nice job offers for them.
